A few years back we took a Norwegian Fjords cruise on Holland America. The cruise left from Rotterdam so we were able to go to The Netherlands and Belgium a week early and tour around. We visited Brussels, Bruges, and Dinant in Belgium and Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanse Schans, Maarken and Volendam in The Netherlands. It was a fantastic week of seeing the Anne Frank Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, windmills at Zaanse Schans, eating seafood in Volendam, taking a walking tour of Bruges and seeing The Grand Place in Brussels. Plus so much more! I loved every minute!  (except for a train strike one day in Amsterdam and a few rogue bug bites) Here are a few of my favorite photos from that week:
